Happy Sunday!

We have a lot of exciting events coming up this week!

Our first FSAC and School Council meetings are this Tuesday (September 16). The School Council is a wonderful way to be involved in your child's school community. Parents play an important role in student success. School councils allow parents to participate in decisions that impact student learning. By contributing knowledge, perspective, and ideas at school council meetings, parents are actively contributing to the success of the school community. FSAC is the fundraising arm of our parent community, working hard to support our school through various fundraising initiatives and hosting community building events for our school families. 

School pictures will be this Wednesday, September 17 (this is a change from the original calendar date of September 23).

And, on Thursday, September 18, we are honoured to have Fred Fox come and speak to our school community on behalf of the Terry Fox Foundation. Following the assembly, we will have our school Terry Fox run and walk. Families are invited to join us for this incredible experience. The assembly begins at 1:00.

Terry Fox School Run

The 2025 Terry Fox School Run is set for this month, and we are so excited to be taking part! Our event will be taking place on Thursday, September 18 at 1:00 pm.  Fultonvale is honored to have a special guest this year.  Fred Fox, Terry’s brother, will be coming to our school to help kick off our Terry Fox Run/Walk.  We are all so excited to have him come and talk about Terry with our students.

This event supports vital cancer research while also building incredible school spirit for our students.  Let’s all show how incredible and generous our school community is and work to reach the fundraising goal of $3700.00. 

The Terry Fox Foundation has created an online fundraising page customized for our school. Don’t delay, let’s start fundraising today!

Fultonvale School Council and FSAC Meetings - Tuesday 6:30 pm

The Fultonvale School Council and Fultonvale School Advisory Council are wonderful ways to be involved in your child's school community. We invite all our parents and caregivers to be involved in FSAC and our School Council. 

We would like to welcome and encourage you to join us for our first 2025-26 set of meetings on Tuesday, September 16 starting with FSAC at 6:30 pm, followed by School Council at 7:00 p.m. If you are unable to join us in person, you can join virtually through the MS Team link found on our School Counciland FSAC website pages. 

Currently, there the secretary position on our council executive is vacant. If you are interested in the open position, please contact our current School Council Chair Kalyn Harrop at ftvschoolcouncil@gmail.com . 

The link to the meetings will be in the weekly Fire Wire the week of the meeting, as a blog post on our Website, and can be found with the link to the meeting agenda.

Correction and Verification Forms

Thank you to all families who have already completed their correction and verification form. Reminders have been sent to families who still need to complete the form. To ensure we have the most accurate information for the year, review and submit the form for each child in your family by September 24—even if there are no updates.
