Happy Sunday!

On Wednesday, we’re excited to host our first Feel the H.E.A.T. Assembly, celebrating what it means to show Heart, Excellence, Attitude, and Teamwork.

Our Grade 8 and 9 Leadership students will lead the celebration as we:

Recognize students who have been “caught” doing great things around our school, and
Present Honours and Merit certificates to students who achieved outstanding academic success last year.

Families of students receiving certificates received an email invitation last week, but all parents are welcome to attend. The assembly will begin after lunch during Period 5 at 11:54 a.m.

We look forward to celebrating the incredible efforts and achievements of our Fultonvale community!

ACTION

Pay School Fees Online!

School fee information for the 2025-26 school year is now posted on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. All fees are due within 30 days of being posted. To access your fee information, simply log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and go to “Student Fees.” There you can view your fees and pay them online. If you’re unable to pay your school fees, you can apply to have certain fees waived. The application deadline is Dec. 15, 2025.

NOTE: Don’t forget to also log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal regularly throughout the year. Fees are often added to your child’s account to cover the cost of various school activities such as field trips, class projects, extracurricular activities fees and more.

INFORMATION

Hot Lunch

Thank you to all families that support this awesome fundraiser. The kids really enjoy it and we love to make them smile.

If you do not already have an account or are new to the school, please register your child (ren) at www.healthyhunger.ca. Click on "register account" and follow instructions. Please remember to put your child under their attending classroom (ex. 2J, 6B, 71, etc..). Once registered you can begin ordering. Families with existing accounts just need to re-register students into their classrooms.

Lunch dates will be reminded to all families through weekly Firewire and Face book posts so stay up to date by reading and connecting on social media.

If you have any questions, concerns or would like volunteer and help with lunch days please contact the coordinator Carrie at ceckersley78@gmail.com.

With the uncertainty of an upcoming strike we are currently carrying on with lunch dates until further notice. If you have ordered lunches after Monday, October 6, and a strike does happen Healthy Hunger will refund your account as soon as they can. Please be patient with them as Healthy Hunger runs throughout all of Alberta and refunds may take some time. As we know more, we will inform you as soon as possible.
