Welcome to the Fultonvale School website!
Fultonvale School is a Kindergarten to grade 9 school located just southeast of Sherwood Park, Alberta. We offer the best of the urban world with a warm sense of rural hospitality and friendliness.
Fultonvale's motto is "Feel the HEAT" and we like to encourage all members of the community (students, staff and parents) to embrace it on a daily basis.

Elementary Recreational Skating Program
As in previous years, our Elementary classes have been given the opportunity to use the Strathcona Olympiette Centre for recreational skating. The skating program shall occur on various dates from January 12th through to a culminating skating party on March 22nd. An information sheet and consent form has already been sent home with your child. Please consult the following link for an additional copy of this information and consent document should you need it.

Inclement Weather Administrative Procedure
With the cold weather here, please check the EIPS Inclement Weather Administrative Procedure to find information regarding student transportation.
Additionally, it is paramount that students are properly dressed for the cold weather for recess as well as their bus ride to and from school. Students should have warm winter coats, hats (toques), gloves and footwear. Even Mr. Brzezicki has started wearing pants to school, so you know it is getting cold!
Fultonvale Provincial Achievement Test Results
Students all across Alberta in grades 3, 6 and 9 wrote the annual Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) in May and June. Fultonvale students again scored very well in relation to the provincial averages, and showed improvement in several areas. The number of Fultonvale students who achieved the acceptable standard was significantly above the provincial average on all 10 tests. Individual student profiles for students in grades 3, 6 and 9 will be sent home with their first report card. If you do not receive your child's profile, please let us know at the office and we would be happy to reprint it for you.

Character Education – Loyalty
In the months of January and February our school will be exploring the virtue of loyalty. Loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a person, country, group, or cause. The cause has to be an objective one. It cannot be one's personal self. It is something external to oneself that one looks outward to the world to find, and that cannot be found within. It concerns not one's own person, but other people. The devotion is active, a surrendering of one's self-will to the cause, that one loves. Loyalty is social. Join us in exploring loyalty to one's family, friends, community and country.

The Student and Parent Portal will be available at the Meet the Staff evening on Wednesday, September 14th. Please join us to receive your password.
Please note that as our school year continues, please "click" on the dashes to see work and learning. Grades are now posted. Please go over with your child their achievement in preparation for mid-term exams. Thank you in advance for returning the confirmation form.

Fultonvale Elementary Jr. High School's G-Mail domain is an email system for students and teachers. It allows users to upload, attach, send, assignments and information quickly and safely to each other. Please click the link below to access G-Mail.
